The German Defense Minister once again promised that “soon” Ukraine will receive weapons from them. However, they did not specify when this would happen.
There may be some informal agreements or expectations between Germany and Russia. This opinion was voiced by Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Viktor Andrusiv.
He noted that this shows several things that cannot be accidental.
The first reason
Viktor Andrusiv noted that the Germans are constantly explaining why there is still no supply of weapons: either they need to be produced and there are difficulties, or they are modernizing.
But how then to explain the refusal Spaniards in the transfer of tanks to Ukraine? That is, they simply did not give permission to transfer these tanks. It doesn't work here anymore “Oh, soon, we don't have time to do something there,” Andrusiv noted.
Second reason
The adviser to the Minister of the Interior added that there is another very important factor. According to him, the Russians are now concentrating on a powerful strike in the Donbass. However, they are waiting for something. If, in fact, in a situation of helping us with weapons, they would not have to wait, but should be in a hurry. And for some reason it's the opposite.
That is, they are waiting for us to finally run out of ammunition. They have some confidence that we will not get weapons that can actually cause them serious harm, – Viktor Andrusiv emphasized.
“I'm beginning to suspect that the Germans have a plan that has already been thwarted many times. And it will be thwarted this time. The Germans are waiting for a stage of the war in which the parties will be ready to sit down at the negotiating table. They probably believe that Putin, having reached the borders Lugansk and Donetsk regions, he wants to sit down for negotiations. I think that this is a delay, this is “playing along” with him, so that he really does this,” Andrusiv explained.
He noted that they did the same when they expected that Ukraine would be captured in 2 days. And then, when they were waiting for the Donbass to be taken away. However, this plan is constantly frustrated.

Germany's promises
Viktor Andrusiv noted that the situation would have been different if the Germans had not promised us these weapons. For example, they said “No, we'll think about it, maybe we'll give something, maybe not.” However, they promised a lot to Ukraine and other countries that are just handing over weapons.
Thus, the adviser to the Minister of the Interior reminded that the Greeks are ready to hand over a lot of weapons to us. However, there is a condition that the Germans must compensate for all this equipment. Also air defense, which the Germans are ready to supply to Ukraine somewhere in the fall. However, this is not a fact and only one system.
“So actually this situation is not even comical anymore, it becomes pathetic. If they didn't promise it, then how- it could be understood. But they promise it and say that all weapons will be provided. In fact, we have not received anything concrete from them so far,” summed up Viktor Andrusiv.
