This is just the beginning: why the Russian army's losses in November were a record for the war Anzhela Figin

In November 2024, the Russian army suffered the greatest irreparable and sanitary losses in manpower since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Therefore, the Armed Forces eliminated 45,720 occupiers.

Where Russia gets its manpower resources from and what contributes to the enemy's record losses, Pavel Narozhny, founder of the “Reactive Mail” charity organization and a military expert, told Channel 24. It should be noted that Russia's total losses in the full-scale war against Ukraine are more than 743 thousand fighters.

“The losses will be even greater later”

In November, Russian soldiers significantly intensified their assault operations, which led to record enemy casualties in both the infantry and mechanized components.

Please note! Deputy Commander of the “Achilles” UAV Battalion of the 92nd Assault Brigade Oles Maliarevich said that only 10% of the occupiers manage to reach the positions they were ordered to capture.

Despite the enormous losses, Vladimir Putin is not running out of “cannon fodder.” In addition, there is no general mobilization in Russia, but there is the so-called hidden mobilization.

The overwhelming majority of Russian army soldiers are contract soldiers. By Russian standards, they are paid incredible money – about 30 thousand dollars. That is why Putin now has a lot of manpower, – said Narozhny.

Ukraine's response to these endless assaults by the Russians will be anti-personnel mines, which Joe Biden promised to transfer. The military expert noted that this type of weapon is somewhat cruel.

Initially, these mines were developed to injure the enemy, not kill. They have a relatively small charge of TNT, but they are chopped up with special fragments, – noted Narozhny.

He suggested that the Defense Forces will receive anti-personnel mines from the United States in the announced aid package for 725 million dollars. However, it is still unknown exactly what kind of mines these will be. Perhaps they are installed on the ground, or they will be remote mining systems.
