The other day AFU attacked three bridges in the Kherson region – Antonovsky, Darevsky and the bridge over the dam of the Novokakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
Natalya Gumenyuk explained that these bridges belonged to the logistics routes and transport routes through which the enemy supplied their reserves and supplies.
These bridges are now under our fire control. And at this stage, this is a powerful signal for the enemy that this is only the beginning, and then they will still see our actions and the use of forces. – the speaker said.
On the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region
According to her, the operational command “South” daily has certain successes in the occupied territories, in particular, hitting combat supply points, ammunition trains, command posts of some units, strongholds, etc.
“The fact that we have taken strong steps along the front line is a long process, and it is progressing quite successfully “, Gumenyuk added.
Earlier, the head of the press center of OK “South” has already said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep the enemy's logistics routes in the Kherson region under fire control. According to her, the occupiers tried to hide the delivery of ammunition under the guise of humanitarian cargo.
“But right now they simply do not have very large capacities and there is no way to use the logistics routes that we control,” – summed up Gumenyuk.
