This is both good and bad news, – military expert on the use of “Daggers” by the Russians

by alex

On the night of March 9, Russia once again launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. However, when compared with previous months, it took the enemy much longer to prepare for it.

This indicates that Russia's strategic non-nuclear potential is in recession. This opinion was expressed by military expert Petr Chernik on Channel 24 .

Massive launches of “Daggers”

He is convinced that this process with the enemy will only increase. At the same time, he noticed a rather interesting detail in the new shelling of Russia.

This is both good and bad news at the same time. This is the use of 6 missiles of the Kh-47m2 “Dagger” complex. Why is this good news? Because for the Russians this missile is the latest, it was literally developed in 2017, there are not many of them – within 53 missiles, – Petr Chernik emphasized.

Therefore, this is the most inviolable reserve of Russia, which can only be. So, if they use them, then this means that they have less and less good and high-quality missiles of other classes.

“But there is also bad news. If these complexes work, then we understand that we currently have no protection against them. Perhaps, when the Patriot complexes and the French-Italian SAMP / T appear, this situation will improve,” he noted. military expert.

There has never been such a missile attack: watch the video

Commenting on the possibility of producing new “Daggers”, the specialist noted that in one such there are approximately 130 components produced by Western countries. Even before the full-scale invasion, this information was open.

All sanctions packages have been accepted. The last American is very interesting. It just concerns the consolidation of this network of deliveries to Russia, first of all, microelectronics and semiconductors. – said Peter Chernik.

He is convinced that almost every month it will really become more dense. However, according to the expert, it will not come to the final closure of supply routes.

“However, I emphasize that they will definitely not be able to fully produce these missiles in large quantities. Logic shows that, due to black schemes, they will be able to achieve indicators of 10-15% of the objective need. By now, up to 40 missiles per month, ” – said the military expert.

At the same time, every month this noose will tighten more and more, and production will only slow down.

Russian missile attack

On the night of March 9, Russia once again massively attacked Ukraine, launching almost a hundred missiles. Among them:

  • 28 launches – Kh-101, Kh-555 cruise missiles;
  • 20 launches – Caliber missiles (of three carriers from the Black Sea);
  • 6 launches – Kh-22 supersonic missiles;
  • 6 launches – hypersonic missiles “Dagger”;
  • 8 launches – guided aircraft missiles (these are Kh-31, Kh-59, produced from the Su-35);
  • 13 launches – missiles from S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems;
  • 8 – unmanned systems “Shahid”.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was able to shoot down 34 out of 48 cruise missiles and 4 out of 8 “Shaheds”. They also organized a “certain countermeasure” to all 8 guided air missiles, so that none of them reached their goal.
