The other day, powerful explosions thundered at the Belarusian airfield Machulishchi, as a result of which a Russian reconnaissance aircraft A-50 was damaged. The guerrillas could launch FPV copters.
This opinion was expressed on Channel 24 by Andrey Kovalenko, a political strategist and aerial intelligence officer of the volunteer formation of terrorist groups. According to him, this indicates the backwardness of the Russians in providing defense for their equipment.
Drones could damage the Russian plane
Kovalenko said: there is information that Belarusian partisans could launch FPV copters . These are drones self-assembled from Chinese parts, reinforced with antennas that allow you to receive a signal at a longer distance. The drone flies at a speed of 80 – 110 km per hour.
“These copters could fly by unnoticed. Only visually, the people who were there could hear them. But with such a speed, the drones could quite accurately hit this target,” the political strategist noted.
The aerial reconnaissance officer of the volunteer formation of the terrorist group noted that both Ukraine and Russia use such FPV copters. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have more modern developments of these drones. Kovalenko suggested that the Belarusian partisans could have purchased them or made them themselves.
And what could the partisans create? Yes, whatever. They could add or make their own. This is even created in the dugout. The tools to defeat are simple but technologically advanced,” he said.
Andrei Kovalenko stressed that this situation indicates the backwardness of the Russians in providing defense for their equipment.
