• At about 21:27 on July 9, explosions were heard in Vremenny Yar, Bakhmut district. The missiles hit a residential area. Two 5-storey buildings were damaged, one of them was almost completely destroyed. Dozens of people were trapped under the rubble.
• Rescuers worked all night. About 70 people, 910 pieces of equipment, 2 truck cranes and 2 loaders joined the search and rescue operation. On the first night, 70 tons of rubble were dismantled. 6 dead and 5 injured were pulled to the surface. The number of victims increased hourly.
• The Office of the President reacted to the cynical attack on the residential sector. Andriy Yermak stressed that “another terrorist attack by a terrorist country” had taken place. Therefore, Russia should be on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
