President Vladimir Zelensky named the ratio of losses in a full-scale war between Ukrainian defenders and Russian military personnel.

In an interview with a BBC journalist, the head of state said that Ukraine is losing people every day.

What are the losses of Ukraine and Russia

— This is a very painful and important issue. Unfortunately, I see these changes every day. They are not in a positive way. It's not getting any smaller, yes. I can’t tell you this number right now. Such a moment: we don’t want Russians to know all the information, — emphasized the President of Ukraine.

When asked how long Ukraine could sustain such significant losses, the head of state replied that during a full-scale war, the most important thing is to minimize human losses.

— The difference between those killed and wounded between us and the Russians is very large. If we have one killed for every six to eight wounded, then for them it is every third or second. This suggests that they do not fight for the survival of people, they leave them on the battlefield, — drew the attention of the head of state.

According to the president, he cannot compare how many people Ukraine can still lose. This depends primarily on the morale of the military and the people who work, as well as on the unity of the West.

— This is a big unification and we can fight until we win, but if all these elements work, — explained Vladimir Zelensky.

At the same time, the President noted that people — this is the most important thing, but this does not mean that Russia can “donate” 30% of Ukrainian land.

— Who said that a frozen conflict would work? Who said that Putin does not want to destroy us? He just wants the return of the USSR under his leadership, — emphasized Vladimir Zelensky.
