“This is a real genocide”: OP and activists react to the massive delivery of subpoenas to the Crimean Tatars

After the announcement of mobilization by the dictator Putin in Russia, representatives of national minorities receive the most subpoenas. This did not bypass the ethnic residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea – the Crimean Tatars.

They simply want to exterminate the indigenous population of Crimea

They began to massively receive subpoenas from the Russian military commissariats. Alim Aliyev, a human rights activist and co-founder of the public organization Crimea SOS, spoke about this on Channel 24.

I will say the most important thing in one sentence. What is happening now in Crimea is a step towards the genocide of the Crimean Tatars,” he stressed.

The activist explained that summons are issued to men exactly where Crimean Tatars live compactly, or where they often visit – at enterprises, markets and other places where representatives of this nation gather. Consequently, some of the men leave Crimea so as not to participate in the war against Ukraine.

Aliev noted that this is a violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention on the Occupied Territories, but everyone understands that this is absolutely nothing for Russia means.

Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, also agreed with the activist's statement. He tweeted about it. So, according to him, the mass mobilization of Crimean Tatars in Crimea is a real genocide along ethnic lines and a real tragedy for the entire people.

Forcing citizens to go to war in the occupied regions is nothing but an attempt at a large-scale cleansing of the territory from the disloyal population by Moscow,” Podolyak stated.

Crimean Tatars have already received 1.5 thousand summonses

In just a few days, since September 21, more than 1.5 thousand summonses have already been issued to Crimean Tatar men. Tamila Tasheva, representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, said that there is no question of partial mobilization, because absolutely everyone receives subpoenas.

Russians are not interested in the state of health or the presence of any experience. They do not even take into account the age of the mobilized. So, for example, a man who is over 60 years old received a summons, that is, he should no longer be mobilized.
