Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda responded to the news about the decision of the United States, France and Great Britain to allow long-range strikes by Ukraine deep into Russian territory.
Nausėda left the corresponding reaction on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).
Lithuanian President on long-range strikes by Ukraine deep into the Russian Federation
— This day has come! Ukraine can now target military facilities in Russia with long-range missiles. This is a decisive moment in Ukraine's fight against the aggressor Russia. Peace cannot be achieved through weakness. Peace is the reward of the strong. Be strong, Ukraine! he wrote.
Long-range strikes deep into Russia
The day before, a number of Western media outlets, in particular the New York Times, Bloomberg, Le Figaro and others reported that first the United States, and then France and Great Britain granted Ukraine permission to use long-range ATACMS (USA), Storm Shadow (Great Britain), and SCALP (France) missiles for strikes deep into Russian territory.

The publication suggested that the target of strikes on Russian territory would be, first of all, enemy groups with a concentration of North Korean troops, which the Kremlin has attracted for the war against Ukraine.
The White House or other offices of Western leaders have not made these decisions commented.
At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the press reports. His reaction included a remark that such things should not be announced, since the missiles “will speak for themselves”.
