Aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap told < strong>24 Channel that the Russians have been developing Su-57 fighters for a very long time. These aircraft are perhaps the most powerful component of all Russian tactical aviation.

According to an aviation expert, the entire Su-57 program was funded by India. In 2018, one Russian fighter “pathetically” caught fire on the runway, after which the Indians withdrew from the production project. By this time, the Russians had 3 – 4 aircraft for various tests, then the occupiers produced 6 aircraft in a year, and 2 the following year. Now in Russia there were 10 – 12 such fighters.

They are trying to develop them there (in Russia – Channel 24), this is the “5th generation”, for 20 years, maybe even more,” noted Krivolap.
