Lukashenko sees "enemies" everywhere/Photo from open sources Recently, Belarusians have become more active regarding their actions and statements. Not so long ago, Alexander Lukashenko said that he did not want to fight with Ukraine because of fortifications on the border. And the Belarusian command said that they allegedly tried to attack them with drones from Lithuania. Such active statements are probably due to the fact that Belarusians want to “satisfy” their Russian partners. Ex- SBU officer Ivan Stupak told 24 Channel that Alexander Lukashenko’s general line is not to get drawn into Russia’s war with Ukraine. He has repeatedly talked about 120 thousand Ukrainian troops on the border, which he doesn’t like at all, but he doesn’t want war. According to a former SBU employee, the Belarusian military and local KGB officers are under direct or indirect influence from their ” senior comrades” from Russia. This influence occurs due to the fact that Belarusians previously either studied in Moscow, or had friendly relations with Russians, or experienced pressure from the administrative side. Perhaps they are still trying to drag Belarus indirectly into the war with Ukraine. How? For example, the Russians are putting pressure on the Belarusian General Staff and forcing them to falsify data about alleged drone attacks from Lithuania. Thus, Lukashenko will be reported every morning about 100 – 500 drones shot down, so that “NATO is attacking us” will be in his head,” Ivan Stupak emphasized. He added that a few days ago, the head of the Belarusian KGB, Ivan Tertel, said that in the city of Kyiv in the Obolonsky district there are two hospitals that are used allegedly to treat “terrorists” under the cover of the local population, civilians and children. Tertel noted that Belarus “will fight.” Unfortunately, this provoked the evacuation of adults and children from these hospitals. Perhaps this is the same propaganda as ” there are enemies everywhere”: there Lithuania is attacking, here Ukraine is treating some terrorists who are aiming to attack Belarus. Perhaps, in this way, the Russians are pushing Lukashenko to take certain actions regarding the participation of Belarus in this war, Stupak summed up.The influence of “senior comrades”
