They will scale up, – Yusov on protests in Bashkiria

Protests have not subsided in Russia for several days now. Thus, in Bashkortostan, local residents came out in support of an activist who was sentenced to four years for “extremism.”

Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov commented to Channel 24 on the situation in the aggressor country. In his opinion, the protests in Bashkiria are only the beginning of large-scale discontent among Russians.

The protests will cover the entire territory of Russia

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region noted that the events in Bashkiria are different forms of protest than when it comes to heating mains and the winter period. Yes, this is already a form of civil protest. And this is the reason for the detention of activist Fail Alsinov, who voiced both anti-war theses and criticism of the authorities.

Bashkortostan is unlikely to be able to change the situation without interaction with other constituent entities of Russia. Each of these republics, each of these autonomous entities is a complex territory with a potential desire for liberation from Russian colonial dependence.

Sooner or later , such forms of protest will be scaled up and will cover the entire territory of Russia. Why should the Bashkirs die? And the Kazakhs, and the Tatars, and the Russians themselves living in Ukraine. Why should they die in Ukraine? Why did Putin and Gerasimov come up with the idea that the Bashkirs want to die in the battle for Marinka or Melitopol? What do they have in common with these territories and the region? Therefore, the protests are quite logical. It’s good that such manifestations of civic consciousness appear,” Andrey Yusov emphasized.
