Ground troops of the French Armed Forces could hypothetically be sent to Ukraine, but not to participate in direct combat operations against Russian occupiers.
Paris may issue a similar order so that its infantrymen will assist the Ukrainian Armed Forces in demining territories, producing and repairing Western weapons, as well as cyber defense.

Probability of sending European troops to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces
At the European Leaders' Summit in Paris on February 27, participants raised the topic of sending Western troops to Ukraine, but those present did not agree on this issue.
President Emmanuel Macron indicated that Ukraine’s partners “are not at war with the Russian people,” but “do not want to let him win in Ukraine.”
