The British Prime Minister warned that “tiredness is growing” because of the war in Ukraine. Johnson is concerned that the war in Ukraine may disappear from the center due to other global problems, in particular inflation around the world.
At the same time, he promises that the international community will provide Ukraine with “new political, military and financial support.” In addition, The Independent says that a general mobilization is inevitable in Russia, as Western officials say. Therefore, Ukraine needs support from the West.
Putin will not stop, – Johnson
The head of the British government said earlier that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not stop. Therefore, Johnson noted 4 important steps for Ukraine:
- it is necessary to provide Ukraine with weapons;
- help maintain the viability of the Ukrainian state;
- develop alternative land routes for the Ukrainian exports;
- unblock the port of Odessa
On June 17, Johnson secretly arrived in Kyiv for the second time after the start of full-scale Russian aggression. British Prime Minister and President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the need to increase the supply of heavy weapons and air defense systems.
Also during a visit to Kyiv, Johnson suggested that Zelensky begin an extensive training operation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
