In the suburbs of Warsaw on November 4-7, former Russian deputies, oppositionists and public figures will hold a meeting. However, one should not expect anything large-scale from this event.
In total, 50 people have already confirmed their participation in the event. Political scientist Nikolai Davydyuk commented on the effectiveness of the meeting of the Russian opposition on the air of Channel 24.
The Russian opposition should learn from Ukraine
He mocked that the Russians at the congress would eat all the caviar and drink all the vodka. At the same time, they won’t know how to answer the question: “Whose is Crimea?” ? Because, for example, this Tikhanovskaya and Chichvarkin travel, they say that they are great oppositionists, but they don’t do anything for this opposition,” Mykola Davidyuk said.
According to him, they are all waiting for the Ukrainians to destroy the Kremlin and kill Putin, and then they will sit with us for a long time and argue whose Crimea is.
“This does not suit us. If you want to be an opposition member, return to Russia , destroy the regime, set fire to military registration and enlistment offices, withdraw millions of people. Then you can call yourself an oppositionist,” the political scientist emphasized.
He also reminded the Russians that the biggest opposition figure in Russia is the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Like, in the 200 years of the existence of their state, no one has done more to overthrow the regime in Russia than Ukraine.
What Ukraine is doing today, what our military is doing today – no never did. These cracks in the regime (Putin – Channel 24), the overthrow of the regime – all this is done by our Armed Forces. They just go to receptions, ask for European grants,” Davidyuk said.
In his opinion, the Russian opposition does not produce results. Like, they couldn’t burn a thousand military registration and enlistment offices during mobilization or bring a million people under the prison of Alexei Navalny in order to get them out of there.
“They need to learn from Ukraine. Let them come to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic University, sit down at a desk , pay for a master's degree in public administration and let them study,” the political scientist ironically.
Congress of Russians in Poland
- In the suburbs of Warsaw 4-7 November will be a meeting of former Russian deputies, oppositionists and public figures. They want to come to power after Vladimir Putin's regime.
- The participants intend to adopt a “Declaration of Constitutional Principles of a Free Russia”, which should form the basis of a new Constitution in the future. Also, the participants must develop a plan and principles of national resistance to the Putin regime at home and abroad.
- However, most Russian oppositionists are criticized because of their inability or unwillingness to really resist the regime. They either almost voluntarily went to jail or fled abroad.
