The EU still abolished the special status for obtaining tourist visas for Russians. According to Mark Feigin, the restriction on obtaining tourist views is just the beginning.

This was told by Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin on Channel 24. He also noted that, in his opinion, the very fact of such a decision by the EU is a very, very important step.

According to Feigin, the next step, after restrictions on the issuance of tourist visas by Russians, is restriction by categories . “Russian officials, judges and elites are likely to be banned”,

If Ukraine and its partners continue to bend their line, then the restrictions will be more significant, but for certain categories , not persons, – Feygin is convinced.

The human rights activist says that the ice visa restrictions can hit the relatives of officials and a variety of people. “In my opinion, such a decision is a compromise, because Old Europe has certain mutual relations with Russia,” Feigin is convinced.

But he notes that these restrictions will partially affect the tops of power. “After all, this is unlikely to affect the ordinary Russian, because they don’t travel anywhere anyway and live like a treasury,” Feigin sums up.
