They will become more massive: an expert on attacks on Russian targets in Crimea

The current strikes on military installations of the Russian Federation in temporarily occupied Crimea are targeted. But they will become more massive as the Armed Forces of Ukraine approach the administrative border of the peninsula.

This opinion was expressed by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko on the air of the United News telethon.

He explained, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now destroying important Russian facilities that the occupiers can use to carry out terrorist attacks on Ukraine. There are also strikes that destroy the logistics of Russian troops.

– All this is now targeted, these are actions of a targeted nature. But they create conditions for the foreseeable future, when the Ukrainian Defense Forces reach the administrative border of the temporarily occupied Crimea. And then a completely different scenario of fire impact will begin: more massive and effectively quantitative, — Kovalenko emphasized.

He added that from a political point of view, the current attacks on Russian targets in Crimea are, first of all, a humiliation of the occupiers.

The expert noted that the occupied peninsula is saturated with Russian air defense systems. There are more of them only in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation.

And, despite such a number of air defenses, the missiles hit the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

– First of all, these are reputational blows, a shame. And secondly, we remember how Medvedev said that if something happens in Crimea, there will immediately be a “mirror reaction” etc. Well, I see that in Crimea this is already a stable trend, that something is constantly happening. This emphasizes the weakness of the Russian Federation due to some, as they like to say, “mirror actions”, — Kovalenko added.

The missile attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol occurred on the afternoon of September 22. According to the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the fleet leadership had just gathered there for a meeting.

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, at least 9 occupiers were killed and 16 were injured. Several Russian generals are in serious condition.
