The Bureau of Economic Security exposed entrepreneurs who profited from the needs of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and sold military ammunition using fake documents.
As investigators found out, the attackers came up with a whole scheme that allowed them to import goods on preferential terms.
Entrepreneurs imported military ammunition under the guise of military aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In order to receive benefits for the import of goods, the attackers used fake certificates and lied about the final recipient.

– According to the documents, all the goods were intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In fact, the company built a business through the sale of ammunition through a network of specialized stores located in several regions of Ukraine, the BEB said.
It is noted that this scheme allowed the import of military goods worth more than UAH 100 million. The company also evaded paying taxes of 30 million hryvniawhen selling goods.
During searches in office and warehouse premises, as well as retail outlets of the company, helmets, ballistic plates and body armor of various protection classes were seized, the total value of the goods is 40 million hryvnia.
