They want to disrupt aid to Ukraine: Kremlin spies have become more active abroad

by alex

Messages are appearing all over Europe about the activation of Russian spies. On April 17, two spies working for Russian intelligence services who wanted to disrupt military aid to Ukraine were detained in Bavaria, Germany. The court will choose a preventive measure for them.

German political scientist Sergei Sumlenny told 24 Channel that attention to this news is much less than it is actually worth. Of course, it is not kept silent, but it does not cause journalistic delight and is not published on the front pages of newspapers and magazines.

An interesting phenomenon

The political scientist remembered that in 2010 there was a scandal related to the alleged wiretapping of former Chancellor Angela Merkel's telephone conversations by the American NSA service.

“It was on the front pages of all German media, despite the fact that there was nothing criminal there. And here there is the preparation of terrorist attacks in Germany by a hostile state – and almost no one talks about this,” the political scientist emphasized.

According to him, this an interesting phenomenon, since Russia has already carried out a lot of espionage activities in Germany, and political assassinations, when before A Chechen oppositionist was shot dead at the Federal Chancellor's Administration building in the center of Berlin.

Last year, the Russians participated in the preparation of riots by the so-called Reichsburgers.

The chairman of this rebellion, who planned to kill the German government, had connections with Russia, because that he regularly visited their embassy.

Reaches the mental wall. We worked and continue to work as if nothing had happened. Russia, of course, is blamed, but they say that “we don’t know the whole truth.” This is such nonsense,” Sumlenny emphasized. situations.

Obvious chains of events

On April 17, an explosion occurred in the UK at a factory producing 155mm shells. Even earlier, in the States, there was a similar fire at a factory that also produces artillery weapons.

It is not clear what was there, but the number of such events right now, when Ukraine needs weapons, makes one think that this is an obvious chain of events, because factories and artillery ammunition depots for some reason are blown up and catch fire. “I think it’s worth looking for a Russian trace here,” said Sergei Sumlenny.

Now there are reports from the administration of Finland and Estonia, as well as other countries, that Russian services, namely the Russian so-called church, are actively buying land near military bases. In other countries, intelligence services do not pay attention to this, since in Western Europe the church is respected.

In Paris, right in the government office block, the Russians built a huge church. We do not know what is in these domes and what kind of radio listening equipment may be there. The Russian Church is actually a branch of the Russian FSB, the political scientist noted.

Russians are also actively involved in propaganda activities in Germany and place their people in strategic infrastructure facilities.

Recently, the Cologne airport fired a man who worked in airport security and had full access to all areas. He was fired only because he traveled with trucks to the occupied Donbass and carried supposedly humanitarian aid from Germany there.

If he didn’t do this and didn’t run around the city with the Russian flag, he would still be working in the security service and could be part of this network of preparing any events on the part of Russia, added Sergei Sumlenny.

He concluded that the German intelligence services work very slowly, and most of the terrorist attacks that the German services have prevented in recent years are due to the fact that the American or British intelligence services provided the necessary information. The German intelligence services themselves were not capable of finding potential terrorists on their territory.

Russian spies became more active

After 30 months in prison, Kovalev returned to Russia in 2022 and then went to the front. According to his death certificate, he was killed during combat operations in Ukraine.
