The second part of communications regarding the involvement of Alexander Lukashenko and his accomplices in war crimes in Ukraine was transferred to the prosecutor's office of the International Criminal Court. We are talking about the illegal movement of Ukrainian children. This evidence was collected by the People's Anti-Crisis Management team.

The main goal is to prove the role of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus in committing these war crimes. Belarusian oppositionist Pavel Latushko told Channel 24 , noting that this is how the ISS demonstrates how the “manager-subordinate” hierarchy is built in Belarus.

This hierarchy is led by the self-proclaimed President of Belarus. Lukashenko has a system of subordinates, which includes the heads of some ministries, government bodies, various organizations and certain individuals involved in organizing crimes. Quotes are also included with the materials.

“Back on July 27, when we transmitted the first part of communications, Lukashenko himself admitted that he called Putin and agreed that he would finance the illegal removal of Ukrainian children from the funds of this “union state,” Latushko emphasized.

Subsequently, in August, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus once again confirmed that he has no plans to stop these criminal actions and again referred to the agreement with Vladimir Putin.

According to our data, more than 3,000 Ukrainian children were taken from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine from more than 20 cities and towns. Of these, according to our estimates, more than 2,100 are children taken away in violation of international humanitarian law,” noted the Belarusian oppositionist.

Among them there are also orphans. The team of the People's Anti-Crisis Management has already established specific personal data of 37 Ukrainian children who were illegally deported. This information was transferred to the International Criminal Court. And also to the Ukrainian authorities, so that the babies can be found and returned.

“This is one of our main priorities – to stop the crime, help return Ukrainian children and, of course, punish those responsible for committing these war crimes,” said Pavel Latushko.

Formation of Russian narratives

The regime shows that it allegedly provides medical assistance to Ukrainian children. However, the Belarusian oppositionist added that this is not true. He emphasizes that the main goal is ideological. After all, they are trying to shape Russian narratives among Ukrainian children.

An adviser to the Russian Embassy meets with Ukrainian children in the camp and says directly: “The end of our “enemies” is already close, we need to wait a little. A wonderful life on the “glorious land of Russia awaits you.” We understand why this is being done,” Latushko said.

So they want to form an understanding among Ukrainian children that their homeland is not Ukraine and that they are not citizens of Ukraine, but supposedly their “homeland is Russia.” There are many such proofs and quotes. Moreover, the militarization of Ukrainian children continues.

“We present photos and recordings where the use of weapons is directly demonstrated. When weapons are handed over to Ukrainian children and they are taught military affairs. For what purposes, if they are trying to ideologically form them as Russians, you can imagine,” the Belarusian oppositionist emphasized.

Pavel Latushko emphasized that a fairly large volume of materials was transferred to the ISS prosecutor's office, which suggests that there are many reasons for a decision to be made when issuing an arrest warrant for Alexander Lukashenko.

Russia kidnaps Ukrainian children

• In March 2023, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. He and the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Affairs, Maria Lvova-Belova, are suspected of illegally deporting children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
• The European Parliament approved a resolution concerning relations with Belarus. The document condemned Lukashenko's actions. Also, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus is recognized as an accomplice in Russian war crimes in Ukraine. In the resolution, in particular, there is a section on the abduction of Ukrainian children to Belarus. The European Parliament calls on the ISS to issue a warrant for the arrest of Alexander Lukashenko.
• The children, who were returned to Ukraine after being forcibly deported to Russia, performed in The Hague. There they told their stories. The Ukrainian delegation, as part of the mission, provided information about the forced removal of Ukrainian children by Russia.
• As of November 8, it is officially known that the Russians deported or illegally removed 19,546 Ukrainian children. Previously, the aggressor country admitted that it had taken more than 700 thousand children from Ukrainian territory.
