The evacuation of civilians from Mariupol, who were able to get to Berdyansk on their own, has been going on for 15 days.

More than 71 thousand people were taken out of hell

Chairman of the Mariupol Regional State Administration Vadim Boychenko spoke about the difficult work that would have been impossible without the consolidation of efforts at all levels.

Thanks to everyone who helps save lives Mariupol residents. We have already succeeded in wresting more than 71,000 people from the real hell that was once beautiful Mariupol. This is the merit of all the participants in this complex, but very important process, – Boychenko emphasized.

No one broke down

Separately, Boychenko thanked the drivers who left for the temporarily occupied territory without fear or doubt – ” let's go to save people”.

And no matter how hard it was, they had to spend the night in the field, and live around the clock in buses, and pass through enemy checkpoints. But no one broke. Nobody abandoned their mission. You are real, you are heroes,” added the head of the Regional State Administration.

Like heroes, our volunteers go to Mariupol and drag people out without fear.

By the way, the situation in Mariupol remains difficult. The invaders continue to destroy the city, using a variety of weapons. The Russians are literally wiping the city off the face of the earth.

140 thousand people managed to leave Mariupol, but almost 170 thousand more residents are waiting for help.
