Vladimir Zelensky recalled how he recognized the Russian strike on the Kramatorsk railway station. He was sent a photo of a headless woman.
According to the president, this photo was not included in the list of photos that were shown to people talking about the tragedy in the media.
She was in such bright clothes that she is well remembered. And I said it's impossible. If the children saw this… if they saw it even in official sources,” Zelensky recalled.

On the same day, the president came to one of the most important meetings. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen came to Kyiv to offer Ukraine a fast track to membership.
However, when Zelensky met with her, he couldn't stop thinking about that photo and the headless woman. He noted that it was one of those cases when your hands and feet do one thing, but your head does not listen.
“The chairman is there, at the station, and you must be present here,” the president said.
