Two Russian soldiers were accused of raping a girl during the occupation of part of the Kharkov region.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, two military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces who committed the crime have been identified. They were informed of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in the spring of 2022, the occupiers went around houses and carried out “checks” from the local population. In one of the households, a subordinate invited the girl “to have dinner” with his commander, but was refused.

Later, the occupiers returned to the same house. The girl and her family were in the basement due to heavy shelling. They took my father out and put a gun to his head. The occupiers locked other family members in the basement, and the driver had to make sure that no one got out.
— The commander dragged the girl into the house and raped her. All the time he held a pistol in his hand and threatened to shoot the victim, — said in a statement from the prosecutor's office.
Who is suspected of rape
One of the defendants is a colonel, commander of the 99th self-propelled artillery regiment of the 3rd motorized rifle division of the 20th combined arms army of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Wolf.
His subordinate was also involved in the crime — driver of the 752nd motorized rifle regiment of the 3rd motorized rifle division of the 20th combined arms army of the Russian Armed Forces, nicknamed Maloy.
It is noted that this is not the first violent crime that the suspects have been charged with. As previously reported, last spring in one of the settlements of the Kharkov region they also raped a girl.
The Kharkov Regional Prosecutor's Office approved and sent the indictment to the court, the trial continues. Now both occupiers are wanted.
