They prepared for the attack for a long time: a Navy veteran estimated the missile stocks of the Russians

Russian invaders have been preparing yesterday's massive missile attack on Ukraine for quite some time. However, the invaders do not have so many stocks of high-precision weapons.

About this Channel 24said Andriy Ryzhenko, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy in 2004-2020. According to him, it is obvious that the invaders have been preparing for this missile attack for a long time. So, Putin could respond to the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions and explosions on the Crimean bridge.

The occupiers involved Tu-160 and Tu-95 strategic aircraft in yesterday's attack. The missiles were also fired from ships of the Black Sea Fleet and coastal systems.

Infidels have insufficient number of high-precision weapons

In order to strike at Ukraine, the occupiers assembled high-precision missiles, among which were Kh-555 and Kh-101. The latter is quite rare and new, because the Russians adopted it only in 2013.

It is very valuable. But something made them shoot missiles with a range of 5,500 kilometers at a distance of less than 1,000 kilometers. They really don't have enough precision weapons,” Ryzhenko said.

He stressed that at the beginning of a full-scale war, the occupiers almost daily attacked Ukraine with so-called “high-precision missiles.” About 3-4 months ago they went into “savings” mode. Attacks with such missiles occur about once every 1 – 2 weeks.

As Ryzhenko notes, the positive work of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should also be noted. On October 10, the Russians launched 84 missiles and 24 drones. And the Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 56 air targets. Today, the military also destroyed a significant number of missiles – 18 – 20 units.

Russia concentrated for this strike, using a lot of resources – especially precision-guided missiles. They have a certain amount left, but not much. We survived this serious situation with honor and dignity,” Ryzhenko stressed.

The Russians deliberately target the critical infrastructure of Ukraine

  • On October 11, the Russian occupiers again launched rocket attacks on Ukraine. As the head of the Lviv OVA Maxim Kozitsky said, the Russians attacked 4 substations in the region. 2 of them were completely destroyed.
  • The invaders also launched rockets in the Dnepropetrovsk region. There, many settlements in the region are without electricity. An energy-saving regime was introduced in the region.
  • In Kyiv, hourly power outage schedules are also being introduced due to damage to critical infrastructure. This will help cover the power gap and balance the power system.
