On November 7, Security Service employees carried out counterintelligence activities in two churches of the UOC-MP in Transcarpathia.
Ukrainskaya Pravda reports this with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.
According to the publication’s interlocutor, representatives of the SBU and the National Police visited St. Michael’s Church in the village of Russkie Geevtsy, and the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the village of Krasnoe.

Law enforcement officers are checking preliminary information that in these churches they prayed for the Russian high clergy, who blessed the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, justified Russian military aggression against Ukraine and incited interfaith hatred.
The SBU is also investigating the legality of placing churches on the relevant land plots.
