They hid all traces of who made it: intelligence dismantled the Iranian drone Mohajer-6

by alex

Ukrainian intelligence dismantled a downed Iranian-made Russian drone Mohajer-6. Not surprisingly, the manufacturer carefully tried to hide the country of manufacture of the drone.

The drone was disassembled to the screw

The power steering notes that it was shot down Mohajer-6 was “bought” in the Ukrainian sea by the Ukrainian air defense forces in September, and this is indicated by a hole in the reconnaissance drone's motor.

The scouts dismantled the drone “to the last screw”. It was made in February 2022, and it is possible that this was one of its first flights.

What immediately caught my eye was how the Iranian manufacturer hid all traces of who made this aircraft, says the GUR.

Inscriptions in English with grammatical errors have been removed from the drone. It was possible to find the inscription FORCE on only one device, made manually, as suggested by the GUR, the Iranians simply did not notice it.

The “stuffing” of the drone is completely foreign

It is noted that the “stuffing” of the drone is predominantly foreign: an Austrian motor, Japanese, Chinese and American cameras.

These are mostly household items, they are not military, but the GUR hopes that information about their origin will complicate access Iran for spare parts.

Ukrainian air defenses have landed less than five such Mohajer-6s so far, but Russia rarely uses them – according to rough estimates, there are only about 20 of them in Russia.

Pay attention!< /strong> According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since October 10, Russian troops have used 176 Iranian kamikaze drones against Ukraine.

Iran helps Russia: the main thing

  • The SBU claims that Iran, as well as its military-industrial complex, are acting in favor of Russia.
  • Probably, Iran is supplying the Kremlin with Shahed-136 and Mohajer-6 drones, as well as small ballistic missiles range “Fateh-110” and “Zolfaghar”.
  • The Institute for the Study of War suggested that Iran considers Russia and China its strategic partners, and therefore the Iranian authorities undertook to help Putin.
