The invaders are massively losing equipment in Ukraine and are trying to replenish its stocks removed from long-term storage. However, this equipment is unusable due to poor condition and theft.
The Russians are trying to somehow solve the issue of large-scale loss of equipment in the war against Ukraine. This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense Alexander Motuzyanyk, writes Channel 24.
Problems with the desire of Russians to repair obsolete equipment
At the airfield in the village of Klimovo, Bryansk region, 35 kilometers from the border of Ukraine, the enemy deploys a repair – recovery base. This base is trying to “put into operation” a significant amount of equipment that comes from long-term storage warehouses.
The condition of this equipment is for the most part extremely unsatisfactory, which makes it impossible to fully use it, – Motuzyanyk explained.
He added that after the “re-mothballing” from the warehouses, the equipment of the aggressor state is actually not subject to restoration. After all, optical devices and electronics containing precious metals were completely stolen from military vehicles.
“In particular, in the 4th Panzer Division of Russia, it was found out that out of 10” reactivated “tanks, only one is more or less operational “, – said the representative of the Ministry of Defense. He clarified that the rest were completely dismantled. Moreover, some of them do not even have engines.
Now the plans to transfer the equipment removed from storage to the front have been thwarted.
