Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan distributed a recording of a conversation between Bundeswehr officers who discussed a possible attack by German Taurus missiles on the Crimean Bridge. The publication of this leak is a very threatening signal from Vladimir Putin. This opinion was expressed by 24 Channel Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter, political scientist Taras Berezovets, who noted that this situation once again proved that German officers violate security protocols when they conduct confidential conversations over unsecured lines. The reason for the leak of the conversation was that one of its participants, a Bundeswehr officer, was in Singapore and talking on an unsecured line. Perhaps the Russian intelligence services recorded him directly in the hotel room from where he was conducting the conversation.
Security problems in the German army and intelligence services have existed for a long time, and local media reported this. Western intelligence agencies, in particular the CIA and MI5, have a serious level of mistrust of their German colleagues and, because of this, prefer not to share classified data with them. They could become the property of Russian spies,” the political scientist noted.
At the same time, Putin did not hide his satisfaction with this fact, as well as how he received this recording. The head of the Kremlin, according to an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by throwing this dirt on Scholz on the eve of the so-called presidential elections in Russia, demonstrates that everyone is supposedly under his control.

Scholz has two options:
- stop supporting Ukraine altogether and show its weakness and vulnerability to Russian hybrid attacks;
- or this will force Scholz to show his leadership qualities and go against this blackmail, to show that he is not afraid of the Russians’ attempts to discredit him. And also to demonstrate that he is the real head of a powerful European country and economy – Germany.
“This is also a warning signal for other European countries and governments that they could also become targets for similar attacks. This is a serious warning from the West that Russia is targeting aggression against Europe and is preparing a war against NATO members. This warning should be taken with the utmost seriousness and determination,” Taras Berezovets emphasized.
