International partners have already given their first reactions to the events in the Kursk region. They comment on everything quite carefully.

Political scientist and head of the Center for Analysis and Strategies Igor Chalenko told Channel about this, noting that the US reaction to Kursk is quite restrained. They probably took a little time to publish a clearer reaction later.

Why were there such reactions to the fighting in the Kursk region

As Chalenko noted, of course, Russia has lobbyists in various organizations. Therefore, they will now try to push through various decisions that are beneficial to them. However, the situation is developing quite interestingly.

What we heard from the US, from the European Commission… The Americans said that they are expecting explanations; they do not know what is happening. This is actually support for tactics. Support for such a “fog of war”. Ukraine has also not made a single official comment regarding the events in the Kursk region. Meanwhile, the territory under control is expanding, – Chalenko said.

This also has a negative effect on Russia. After all, such a peculiar “silence” does not allow local propagandists to build their information counteraction. In general, we need to watch how exactly the events in the Kursk region continue.
