They cannot produce, – the expert spoke about the disappearance of unique Russian equipment

by alex

In the war in Ukraine, Russia lost a large amount of military equipment. Some types of equipment may disappear from the Russian nomenclature altogether.

Alexander Kovalenko, a military-political observer for the Information Resistance group, spoke about this Channel 24. According to him, the aggressor country is experiencing a great shortage of certain types of weapons.

What equipment can disappear in Russia

Already now some samples of military equipment that are unique are disappearing.

For example, a flamethrower combat vehicle (BMO-T). It was produced in the amount of 10 units, of which at least 4 were destroyed in Ukraine. According to my information, Russia has lost even more of these machines at the front, – a military observer.

As Kovalenko noted, now only 2 flamethrowers fighting vehicles are left in use by the infidels.

T-90 tank situation

There may also be problems with the “pride” of the Russian army – the latest T-90 tanks.

The Russians have not been producing such tanks from scratch for several years. They cannot produce them. Therefore, the occupiers receive T-90 tanks solely through the deep modernization of the T-72, – said the military observer.

Back in the early 2000s, Russia sent a large number of T-90 tanks into storage. In addition, Moscow exported a significant part of such equipment to India and Algeria, which were the main buyers.

How long will it take Russia to “re-mothball” tanks

“Russia itself today has fewer of these tanks than India. India has more than 1,300 T-90 units. And Russia has about 350 units. A large number of them are in storage,” Kovalenko said.

In order to remove such tanks from storage, Russia it will take some time.

However, the downside is that, compared to the T-72 and T-80, the T-90 tanks are quite new. Therefore, taking them out of storage and maintenance will take about a month. They are more likely to end up in the war zone in Ukraine. On the other hand, if these “mothballed” tanks are sent to Ukraine, then the question arises: why is Russia using this latest technology?

The military observer added that this would testify to how the miserable situation with armaments is for infidels.
