It should be noted that on December 3, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that Ukraine had officially renounced the guarantees that replace NATO membership. They recalled the example of the Budapest Memorandum, which failed to prevent Russia's aggression. According to the Foreign Ministry, inviting Ukraine to NATO will deprive the Kremlin of illusions about the possibility of preventing Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
