Russian propagandists said that the Ministry of Defense tested military airfields “for resistance to massive strikes.” During the exercises, special forces of the occupation army practiced the restoration of runways and aircraft parking areas.

According to sources, the exercises took place in several regions at once, in particular in the western and southern strategic directions. They brought in engineering units to remove craters and restore caponiers to protect aircraft from debris.

A Russian military expert complained that during a full-scale invasion, Ukraine regularly attacks military airfields aggressor. He also fearfully suggested that “in the future Russia may have to deal with NATO.” They say, therefore, everything must be kept in good order.
