Boris Johnson initiated a “peace plan” to end the war in Ukraine, namely, how the United States and Donald Trump, if elected president, should act against Russia and help our country. One of the points is the return of borders by February 24, 2022. However, Johnson may not have enough resources to implement it.

According to Seleznev, Johnson's vision has a right to exist. There are many plans to end Russia's war against Ukraine, but the basis of each of them is resources. However, there are certain doubts about Johnson's ability to implement his “peace plan”. the agenda of the global community, such as China, are more realistic. Beijing has the appropriate resources and leverage on the policies of Putin and other participants in the current processes, noted the military expert.

He noted that any plans of world leaders are not can be discussed without Ukraine. The position of senior Ukrainian military officials and political officials is quite consolidated, because they oppose the possibility of territorial compromises with Russia. However, it is the negotiating track and our country’s position in it that will depend purely on the situation on the battlefield.

If Ukraine observes stagnation in the pace and volume of supplies of weapons and military equipment for the needs of the Ukrainian military, then our country will not be able to avoid painful compromises.
