There will be no mobilization of men under 25 years old — MP Venislavsky

The Parliament did not adopt any changes to the Law of Ukraine on the general mobilization of men under 25 years of age.

This was stated by People's Deputy Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

Mobilization up to 25 years

Fedir Venislavsky recalled that the Law of Ukraine on mobilization stipulates that men under 25 years of age will not be called up for military service.

— For citizens under 25 who are subject to military service, we have provided for contracts. There will be no mass conscription, no mobilization under 25. The Verkhovna Rada has not adopted any changes, — the people's deputy noted.

In turn, the Ministry of Defense officially launched the Contract 18-24 project, which stipulates that every guy between the ages of 18 and 24 can voluntarily join the Armed Forces of Ukraine for one year.

Those who decide to join the project will receive financial compensation, social guarantees and undergo professional training with the participation of instructors with combat experience.
