It takes six months to resume communications
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Gaidai, commenting on the heating season in the region, said on the air of the telethon that the situation is catastrophic.
He said that it is physically and technically possible to supply gas to the large cities of the Luhansk region. But, despite the promises of the occupying authorities, there will be no heat and gas in the houses due to the fact that the infrastructure inside the cities is broken.
Sergei Gaidai said that it cannot be restored. According to him, in order to establish communications, you need to work every day for six months and invest a lot of money.
They (the Russians – Channel 24) are not doing anything in this direction even now. Therefore, they will not do anything in the cities,” the head of the Luhansk OVA said.
Ukraine is evacuating from Donbass
- On July 28, a large-scale evacuation was announced in the Donetsk region. Irina Vereshchuk, who headed the headquarters for the evacuation of residents of Donbass, called on Donetsk residents to evacuate, as there is a risk of being left without food, medicine and warmth in autumn and winter.
- It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced a mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region. People who do not want to leave will have to sign a written consent.
- About 200,000 people are planned to be evacuated from Donbass. Of these, 50,000 are children.
- Sergei Gaidai said that evacuation is no longer being carried out from the Lugansk region. People from the Luhansk region can leave for the Donetsk region and evacuate from there.
