— We monitor about 500 Telegram channels using automated systems. This figure is constantly changing, because new ones are changed, new ones are launched, and some old ones remain unattended. 156 foreign Internet resources, more than 100 YouTube channels that were not blocked, — he says.
According to Shapovalov, the center is monitoring about 812 speakers and 296 organizations whose work may show signs of cooperation with the “Kremlin propaganda machine”. In general, in 2023 the center recorded about 10 thousand destructive information messages.
CPD monitoring is carried out using an automated system every 30 minutes in 400 different directions, which allows you to track “unclear activity” and see if there is a need to respond to it.
— We can distinguish authentic activity from inauthentic activity. We can see whether “networks of coordinated behavior” are being used at this moment, and accordingly, from this we can classify what exactly is happening, what kind of attack it is, in which direction it is going and how to respond to it , — says Shapovalov.
