A resident of Mariupol said that electricity, gas and water were turned off in the city during the war. Already in March, mobile communications disappeared there.

A resident of Mariupol told Channel 24 the relevant information as part of the “SVOI” project. The woman also reminded that there was no water in their house.

The woman spoke about the hard life in Mariupol during the war

The migrant Julia told that they had no gas at home. When the lights were turned off, food was cooked outside. There, the neighbors burned a fire and Julia cooked on fire for two children. Subsequently, they moved in with her mother, because there was gas.

And when our area was already heavily bombed, we slept in the basement. We sat for 3-4 weeks, almost without leaving there. There were 3 rooms and about 100 people in the basement,” Yulia said.

The woman also remembered that when half of Mariupol was seized and bombed, her mother’s house was still standing, so she left the dog and cat in the apartment, but every day I went to check on them and feed them.

One morning, Yuliya went to cook the dog and the cat, and as if she felt something, she took her dog, but then took her back to her mother's apartment.

” And, apparently, after 3 hours, these four nine-story buildings were completely bombed,” the woman recalled.
