Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis condemned the massive shelling of Odessa by Russian troops on March 2, which killed 12 civilians, including five children.
He wrote about this on his X (formerly Twitter). Under the publication, he posted a photo of the injured family of Anna Gaidarzhi – rescuers pulled her body hugging her 4-month-old son Timofey from the rubble of the house.
— This is an absolutely outrageous murder. By deliberately killing babies in their sleep, Russia is showing clear disrespect for any peace agreements, past or future. There must be serious and immediate consequences, not continued impunity, — wrote a Lithuanian diplomat.
Attack on Odessa March 2 — victims
On the night of March 2, the invaders attacked Odessa with a group of attack drones, one of them hit a panel high-rise building, literally destroying part of the building.

The rescue operation continued until the evening of March 3, as a result, 12 bodies were discovered.
Among them are three-year-old Mark, four-month-old Timofey, eight-month-old Elizabeth and two more children, 8 and 10 years old. Mourning was declared in the region.
