Their losses are important amid rumors of a possible further attack on Moldova. If the most combat-ready units have largely lost their strength, there is nothing to attack Moldova, Poland or the Baltic countries, the CIT report says.
The Russian Defense Ministry reports underestimate the number of losses. The latest figures released were 1,351 dead. At the same time, they are convinced that more than 30,000 soldiers died on the side of Ukraine.
“That is, they create a picture that there are losses on the Russian side, but they are much less than with the Ukrainian side that everything is going well,” the analysts added.
At the same time, as politicians note, despite the sinking of the Moskva cruiser, the death of generals and the difficult situation for Russia, Putin continues to believe that he is now winning the war.
By the way, the Russian Black Sea Fleet is suffering losses in the war against Ukraine not only at sea but also on land. Soldiers from at least two marine brigades refused to participate in the war in Ukraine due to the loss of brothers.
