President Volodymyr Zelensky was surprised by the statement of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Litvinenko about the need to mobilize another 160 thousand Ukrainians.

– The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council surprised me. I didn’t know that he was spreading this information,” noted Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the head of state, he knows how many people were mobilized in the six months after the law on mobilization came into force.
And this number, the president says, is not enough.
– The fact that there are not enough people at the front is the answer to the question of whether hundreds of thousands of people were mobilized or not. If there is not enough, then definitely no one mobilized half a million, says the head of state.

Recall that on October 29, during a speech in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Litvinenko said that the Ukrainian government plans to mobilize another 160 thousand Ukrainians.
According to the head of the National Security and Defense Council, this will help to staff military units by 85%.
