Ukraine has passed the first month of the heating season, which has started in all regions. The energy situation is now stable, and there is no shortage of electricity.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal informed about this. He assures that the state is now fully provided with the necessary amount of energy resources. In particular, there are coal reserves in warehouses – about 1.1 million tons.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine has already managed to restore almost 1.9 GW of generating capacity. By the end of the year, they plan to restore another 1.3 GW of additional capacity in order to completely repair key energy system facilities.

Shmygal noted that a huge amount of work has been done in Ukraine to restore networks, protect substations and other critical infrastructure equipment. 445 heat supply facilities have already been restored, in particular, boiler houses, central heating points, and thermal power plants.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister assures that work with partners on energy issues continues actively. In particular, new deliveries of air defense systems are planned, which will strengthen the protection of energy facilities.
