There is no political solution: why the war between Israel and Hamas will continue Alexandra Sadovaya

The war between Israel and Hamas will continue. On the one hand, the Israeli army is much more powerful than the Palestinian group. However, there is no political solution to end the fighting.

This is 24 Channel noted Israeli journalist, editor-in-chief of “Best Radio” Zvi Zilber. In his opinion, the only solution is to reoccupy the Gaza Strip in order to overthrow the Hamas regime there, but the Israeli military does not want to do this.

The parties will never conclude a truce

Zvi Zilber noted that the military potential of Israel and Hamas is not even worth comparing. After all, the IDF is a powerful and modern army. However, there is no political solution to this war yet. These two sides will never reach a truce.

Only the reoccupation of Gaza can change the Hamas regime there. There are no other options. And the Israeli army categorically does not want to deal with this matter. “They don’t want to reoccupy Gaza, they don’t want to deal with civil affairs, courts, police and other matters,” he suggested.

It says there must be a complete ceasefire for six weeks and Israel must withdraw troops from all densely populated areas of Gaza. Also in the region, they must increase humanitarian aid by allowing the entry of 600 trucks daily into Gaza.

According to him, he will not agree to do otherwise.
  • The UN Security Council approved Biden's plan. 14 countries voted to support the US leader’s document. And although the representative of Russia abstained from voting, the Security Council resolution is considered adopted.
