The Bakhmut direction is considered one of the hottest on the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to courageously defend the city every day.
Even last year, 70 thousand people lived in the city, and now there are only a few civilians left. The head of state says that there is no place in Bakhmut that has not been watered with blood.
How the city lives during the war
Zelensky added, that people remaining in Bakhmut hear shelling more often than silence.
There is not an hour when the terrible roar of artillery does not sound. But Bakhmut stands. Our defense forces are standing. The Ukrainian Donbas is standing, the head of state assured.

What is happening in Bakhmut
- The invaders have somewhat changed their tactics in the Bakhmut direction. Yes, they no longer operate as part of company or battalion tactical groups, but are divided into small groups of up to 20 people and dispersed across the battlefield. However, military expert Mikhail Pritula is convinced that the change of tactics will not bring any success to the invaders at the front.
- The Ministry of Defense showed a video of the road to Bakhmut. The recording shows traces of explosions and a black sky. The footage proves that the situation near Bakhmut is the hottest.
- The invaders concentrated all their forces near Bakhmut trying to break through our defenses. They suffer insane losses there, but still continue to advance.
