Vladimir Zelensky is convinced that not a single European state is yet ready for war with Russia. According to him, their population was not prepared for such a possibility.

Europe's readiness

Vladimir Zelensky said that in 2014, Ukrainians were not ready for war, but over the next eight years people began to prepare. This is not only a question of weapons, but also a question of psychological state. According to the president, Europe is not yet ready for war.

And I believe – God willing, there will be no new attacks on you from Russia – that in Europe today there is not a single country that would be ready for an invasion. Not because we are stronger or better. We are all the same. But we had all these years,” he said.

As Zelensky noted, psychologically, from the point of view of information and the media, Europe did not prepare its own population for war. According to him, this is obvious – no one wants an armed confrontation.

At the same time, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov said in an interview with Ukrinform that Russia has influence in any country in Europe.

In fact, after Putin came to power, the Russians began to actively engage in the issue of increasing their presence abroad. The question of whether there is a Russian trace in certain countries and processes is only a matter of time,” explained the NSDC Secretary.

According to Danilov, all these connections will soon become noticeable.

Zelensky's statements at the conference

• Vladimir Zelensky is convinced that the balance of power in NATO will soon change. According to him, the decision to apply Article 5 will be made in Europe, and not in the United States.
• The President emphasized that the vote in Congress to allocate funds for assistance to Ukraine is now key issue. It is important for the state to maintain American support. Zelensky noted how much had been achieved thanks to American weapons.
• The Ukrainian leader also spoke about the myths that Ukraine destroyed after a full-scale invasion. One such myth is that Russia can take over another country in a few days or weeks. Ukraine also proved that Russian weapons are worse than Western ones, and Europe can defend itself.
