The Ministry of Internal Affairs answered when an escalation should be expected from Russia/Russian Ministry of Defense
Now Russia is provoking Transnistria to use it in the war against Ukraine. However, this can only happen in aggressor countries under certain conditions.
This was announced on Channel 24 by Vadim Denisenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to him, the scenario of involving Pridnestrovie in the war looks doubtful so far.
When to wait for escalation
“In this quasi-republic, more aggressive actions are possible only if provided that the Russians take Nikolaev and approach Odessa. At the same time, one should not forget that there is no aviation in Pridnestrovie, so to say that the infidels will start hostilities there without land approaches to Odessa,” Denisenko said.

According to the adviser, what is happening in Pridnestrovie is activation, collection and coordination. Attempts to bring the Pridnestrovian army and the Russian unit into some kind of order, since they were in a “lax” state and did not want to fight.
Denisenko stressed that now Russia is trying to increase the degree both in relation to Moldova and Ukraine . At the same time, the aggressor state wants to see how ready it will be for hostilities if the infidels can approach Odessa.
By the way, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, explained what threatens Pridnestrovie with being drawn into the war with Ukraine . At the same time, he assured that our military leadership is well aware of the risks from the unrecognized quasi-republic.
