Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is responsible for the death of the owner of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
This statement was made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during the 18th meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES).
< p>According to Western media, the head of state made such a comment in passing when he was asked a question about Putin. He did not refer to any specific sources.

The President added that the Kremlin dictator “faded as a person and politician”.
Zelensky emphasized that for Ukraine the death of Prigozhin means which became “one less terrorist”.
The President recalled that the Russian army was covered by the Wagnerites on the battlefield. It was the mercenaries who were thrown in front of Putin’s regular troops. And now the occupiers have lost this opportunity, since the Wagnerites are no longer fighting in Ukraine. And this is a definite plus for our state.
As you know, on August 23, a private passenger plane crashed in the Tver region of the Russian Federation. Among its passengers were the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, and the leaders of the Wagnerites.
In Russia it was announced that all the passengers had died, and a genetic examination confirmed Prigozhin’s death.
