There is a time for each weapon. Once we did not even dream of HIMARS, but they were provided to us. Military expert Oleg Zhdanov commented on Channel 24.
He noted that now there are talks about ammunition with a range of up to 140 km.
I think they will be provided soon. And already an operational-tactical missile of the ATACMS type, which for the same complex, perhaps a little later. However, they will, – said Oleg Zhdanov.
He added that once we did not dream of Western artillery, but we got it. We also get about airplanes. In addition, he added that negotiations are underway to get Western-style aircraft, and not just Soviet ones.
“So there is a time for each weapon. Gradually, these weapons enter Ukraine and fall into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” – Zhdanov summed up.
Successful use of weapons by Ukrainian defenders
- Sounds of explosions are heard near the occupied Melitopol on the territory of a military base seized by Russian invaders. In all likelihood, Ukrainian shells hit there.
- In the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, late in the evening of July 11, explosions thundered. Local residents reported about the detonation of ammunition in the warehouse of the occupiers.
- On the morning of July 9, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to HIMARS, got into the ammunition of the occupiers in Chernobaevka. Eyewitnesses reported that a large-scale fire with detonation of shells lasted for a long time.
