Vladimir Zelensky said this during an evening address to Ukrainians, channel 24 reports . The head of state also spoke about the hostile mobilization in Crimea aimed at the extermination of indigenous peoples.
What residents of the temporarily occupied territories should do
Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that Ukraine has evidence that Russia is trying to mobilize more men from the Crimean Tatars, which is a completely conscious extermination of the indigenous people of the temporarily occupied peninsula.
The President called on those who are now avoiding in the temporarily occupied territories mobilization and subpoenas and is trying to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine.
I have a simple request to all our people who are in the temporarily occupied territory: do the main thing – take care of your life and help us weaken and destroy the occupiers. Avoid agendas. Try to go to the free territory of Ukraine,” the President emphasized.
Vladimir Zelensky stressed that if mobilization still could not be avoided, then any activity of the enemy should be sabotaged and important information about the occupiers should be reported to Ukraine and, as soon as possible, switch to Ukrainian positions.
What is happening in Crimea
The day before, the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, said that the occupiers in Crimea were preparing for it even before Putin announced mobilization. Immediately after the announcement, the Russians began to take away men of Crimean Tatar origin. Chubarov stressed that the percentage of Crimean Tatars in the mobilization lists is very high. For example, in the Belogorovsky district, it is 80%.
Chubarov stressed that in this way Russia wants to destroy the Crimean Tatars by sending all the men to fight against Ukraine.
