Gredil noted that in the city he did not see pedestrians, people who walked along the streets, passed somewhere.
“We talked with the military and they said that quite a lot of people remained in Bakhmut. They are now sitting in the basements. This is mainly the older population, but there are also young people and even children,” he said.

- Aleksei Arestovich, Advisor to the Office of the President, said that the command of the occupiers is throwing convicts without helmets and bulletproof vests into the attack on Bakhmut. He also skeptically assessed the information that Russia plans to call up another 300,000 people for military service. Arestovich stressed that there are serious problems with equipment in the aggressor country.
