There are also damages to power lines, and in a number of settlements there is a temporary lack of power supply. Emergency services will begin restoration work after agreement with the Russian Ministry of Defense, said Gladkov.

Where there is no light in the Belgorod region

The official Russian authorities did not write where exactly the light disappeared. However, the occupiers noted in telegram channels that there is no light in:

• Belgorod,
• city of Stary Oskol,
• city of Valuiki,
• urban-type village Volokonovka;
• urban-type settlement Chernyanka;
• in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district. In particular, in 6 settlements: the village of Prilesye, the villages of Grafovka, Romanovka, Demidovka, Popovka, Repyakhovka.

In Russian telegram channels noted that according to preliminary data, the emergency power outage in the Belgorod region will last until 13:00 on July 1.

In addition, the water utility reported a water outage in Belgorod, Shebekino, Rovenki , Volokonovka, Stary Oskol and Krasny.

Subsequently, Belgorodoblenergo assured that the lights were turned off allegedly due to “external influence on the power facility.” However, the department did not say what exactly “influenced” him. But they assured that power engineers are switching the electricity supply to backup circuits.
